days in BOTC-adventure FUN camp

this is one holiday that is fun i would say..
haven't been to an adventure camp for quite awhile
so it's like a refresher course with the need to look in the
officer's point of view rather than a Boy's point of view..
i gained a lot of experience through this camp
with many things that although i tried and done before
it's nothing similar to the one that i done in Singapore..

through this camp, i learnt a lot of things such as the
water fall trekking, it's quite straining for me to walk through
the forest but i still manage to go through the whole thing..
and it's really nice to be there with the water fall..
although it's not what i imagine it to be, it is good enough with
the refreshing water.. not doubt i don't really want to go into
the water at first, but after John sprayed water at me
and the encouragement that my trainer,
i decided to just "aiya, die die must go in and die as a group,
if not waste my whole trip of coming up all the way to the waterfall"
so i went into the waterfall and it is really cooling..
the effort to climb all the way up to the water fall hasn't been a wasted trip..

then there is outdoor cooking which is the fun part
because of the amount of flies that are all around us
when we are cooking the food, preparing the food, eating the food..
it is one experience i had for the first time..
then there is this cat that is persistent in trying to get our food
and no amount of coaxing can get the cat away..
the wonderful thing that came out is the food that tasted so delicious..
not even enough to give it to our trainer..
which he pointed out and sort of makes us feel awkward..

then the next day, we had the more fun then we did yesterday
i started off the day waking up at 5.50 cause the phone watch is one hour early..
so i end up waking tony and john and one other guy
only to find out that the phone watch is wrong -.-"
then i can't sleep le so i woke up and do my reflection
and watched the sunrise which is amazingly nice..
i even had the video of the whole thing as well..

then we went on to have our breakfast and headed off to play our games..
we had water obstacle course which is actually quite fun
although i didn't fall into the water, but it is still not easy trying
to clear those obstacles as there are quite different difficulty
however my group only get to clear 2 out of the 4 stations
as we were kind of slow in completing those activity..
so we manage to clear 2 while 1 of them is surprising tough..

then we had paintball!!
wahahahaha!!! my group WON!! muahahahahaha..
but ya lah, it's a team effort so i'm sort of thankful for my team
which makes it possible for me as they helped to cover me to win the game
and it's really becoming very strategic and lots of teamwork involved
even though we had one of the older ladies in our group who can't really took
the excitement, she did her best to cover me in times as well(=

and the last but not least C-O-C-O-N-U-T T-R-E-E C-L-I-M-B-I-N-G!!!
thinking of me climbing up the tree!!
impossible right? and ya.. i didn't manage to climb up because the tree
that i tried is the toughest of all the trees that are available..
but i tried and cleared almost half, but i didn't make it up
so oh well, next time when i'm skinner and more muscular i will scale up that tree!!

the last last thing that was memorable was the delicious lunch!!
it's like oh my goodness those chicken and the chilli and the clam food..
it's like finger licking good with less oil..
so that marks the end of my BOTC journey and wait for my Passing-Out-Parade..
and i really do enjoyed the time that had with the group..
it is just too soon for the adventure weekend to end..

~weiyang~
a tired weiyang with lots of homework to do!!
